So what should you use instead?
The short answer
For anything that will live outside in Kuwait — or inside a hot car, on a balcony, on a roof, or in a non-air-conditioned warehouse — use ASA. It was engineered for exactly this.
For indoor decorative pieces, models, prototypes you'll review and discard, or anything that lives in air conditioning year-round — PLA is still the right choice. It's cheaper, prints faster, and reproduces detail beautifully.

A note on ABS
ABS sits between the two. It handles 100 °C (better than ASA on heat alone), but it has poor UV resistance — about as bad as PLA in direct sun. ABS is perfect for mechanical parts that live indoors hot but never see daylight. Engine bay clips, internal automotive parts, tool handles.
